“Try Harder” is Not a Strategy: How to Lead Recruitment in a Changing World

2016 Talent Symposium
Workplace Application: This session will show you how to lead recruitment in a constantly changing world.
Agile recruitment means working smarter, regularly re-prioritizing, helping hiring managers think strategically about talent, and getting buy in for new initiatives and processes to help the business move faster.  John Vlastelica, a former recruiting director with Amazon and Expedia, and consultant and trainer to organizations like Google, Groupon, Nike, Nestle, Uber, and Yahoo!, will explore how successful recruiters and recruiting leaders actually lead and deliver results in an environment that's constantly changing. In this engaging, irreverent session, we'll stay away from theory, and focus on how-to strategies, including:

How to build an agile recruiting strategy for the real world.

How to influence and position your ideas so that the business listens.

How to coach and reward your hiring managers to play a more engaged, active role in recruiting.
