Edie Goldberg is the founder of E. L. Goldberg & Associates based in Menlo Park, Calif.  She has specialized in talent management and organization development for over 20 years. She focuses her practice on designing HR programs and processes to attract, engage and retain employees. Before starting her own company, Dr. Goldberg worked for Towers Perrin as the Global Leader in Learning & Development, Career Management, & Succession Planning. She also co-lead the firm’s Talent Management initiative which resulted in groundbreaking research on employee perceptions regarding what attracts, engages, and retains them. 

Edie has published many articles and presented at numerous professional conferences in the areas regarding building management capability, performance management, competency modeling, organization change, and job analysis. She earned her PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Albany, State University of New York, and her BA and MS from San Diego State University. She is the founder of the Bay Area Applied Psychologists, and is the Past-President of the California HR Strategy Forum, an affiliate of the Human Resources Planning Society.
