SPONSORED SESSION: Personalized Health Benefits: The Future of Health Care

SHRM 2015 Annual Conference

Health care benefits continue to be among the most important factors that employees consider when joining a company and choosing to remain. Traditional benefits plans have been designed to be relevant to all employees so it is critical for organizations to determine how they can distinguish themselves and one route is through the benefits they offer employees. The rise of mobile technology and digital health has created an opportunity to offer personalized, dynamic benefits designs that maximize employee health and minimize health care costs. Jiff, a technology company specializing in the health care industry, and Activision Blizzard, the leading publisher in the interactive entertainment software industry, collaborated to build out Jiff’s incentives product.  This product creates simple, unique experiences that reward employees for making healthy choices. Employees can choose to use their own consumer tracking devices and mobile apps, or ones issued by their companies, to participate and earn rewards. Join Derrek Newell and Milt Ezzard as they present the strategies they used to better identify their health care cost drivers and the tools they used to address them. You will learn:

  • How Jiff was able to track which programs worked best using quick digital feedback.
  • How to use the data to understand where the best engagement was taking place, and then maximizing those opportunities to make sure employees got engaged and stayed engaged.
