The session will review case studies that focus on the challenges that arise during a transition. You will learn about Intel's steps they use to manage transitioning employees. This session will provide you with:

  • An understanding of the steps that can be used to assist an employee to transition to a different gender in the workplace. 
  • Lessons on how to handle and respond to some of the most frequent challenges that arise during transition. 
  • An education through the review of key definitions and key considerations which will assist in handling any transitions in the workplace.

Eva Breslin (SPHR, GPHR, and SHRM-SCP) is a Global Senior HR Professional in the Employment, Labor, and Benefits Legal Group at Intel Corporation.  She has a BBA in Human Resources and an MBA in general management administration and has worked for Intel for 19 years.  Eva currently manages the Latin American Region and is involved with global employee relations, union/labor relations, performance management, training and development and other HR related functions.  Eva is also considered one of Intel’s subject matter experts in employee relations, including gender transition matters.

Keith Epstein (SPHR, GPHR, and SHRM-SCP) is a Legal Investigator in the Employment, Labor, and Benefits Legal Group at Intel Corporation.  He has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and has worked for Intel for 20 years including training, organizational development, human resources generalist, and for the last 10 years, as an investigator for human resources-related charges and lawsuits.  Mr. Epstein is involved in global labor relations particularly in Asia and in setting Intel’s global employment guidelines.  Keith is also considered one of Intel’s subject matter experts on gender transition matters.
