Karl James Ahlrichs
Karl Ahlrichs is an adviser to senior leadership on human resource and risk management issues, working for Gregory and Appel of Indianapolis. Karl has broad experience in senior level problem solving, with proven skills in handling complex organizational issues with uncommon sense. Karl is a national speaker and author, and is often quoted in the media on HR issues. He has facilitated a monthly CFO Roundtable for more than 10 years.
Karl’s experience is perfectly suited to times of great organizational change. He has decades of strategic consulting to all industries, using risk management and good organizational development theories to bypass “best practices” and move directly to “next practices”. He can explain Health Insurance Reform in less than 5 minutes, and is writing a book on the impact of PPACA on the workplace. Recently Karl was named the SHRM Human Resource Professional of the Year for the State of Indiana.
Karl is learning Spanish, was a personal career coach to the man who invented Stove Stop Stuffing, still owns the first car he ever drove (a Model T Ford).
