Attendees will get practical tips and resources on how to successfuly recruit, hire and retain talent with disabilities.

The Fear and Stigma training takes participants through a greater understanding of the disability community and the strength of this untapped resource. Participants will get a view of the array of disabilities, proper etiquette and data that supports individuals in the workplace. The discussion will provide best practices, case studies and outcomes from Pepsi, Frito Lay and more. There will be a great focus on culture and how individuals with disabilities fit within the culture of our workplace. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of why hiring individuals with disabilities is “smart business.”

As the Senior Director of Partnership Development at Disability Solutions, Kevin works directly with employers on developing programs to actively attract, hire and retain talent with disabilities, which includes Pepsi Beverages’ Pepsi ACT – Achieving Change Together and the expansion project Frito ACT for Frito Lay.  Kevin trains employers to educate them on the benefits of hiring talent with disabilities and provides tools to help them best engage and support potential and current employees.  He is also responsible for developing and managing relationships with talent partners to meet the hiring needs of Disability Solutions’ employer clients. Kevin also regularly contributes to blogs and hosts Disability Solutions’ podcast “Changing Minds and Changing Lives.”
