2022 Talent Conference
Attendees will learn how to turn the hyper-competitive market for global talent into a business advantage by reimagining your hiring practices and upskilling your workforce.

In a competitive environment, employers are in a prime position to take a closer look at their hiring practices and internal talent pools. By implementing dynamic initiatives to address the gaps, recruiting teams can successfully meet the moment, to not only survive the current talent marketplace, but thrive.

Learning Objectives:

  • What it means to embrace a Screening In approach to recruiting, and how that approach can help expand your talent pool, increase organizational diversity and inclusivity, and hire candidates with a growth mindset.
  • Specific interview guidance for recruiters, strategies for counteracting bias, and advice on upskilling your recruiting teams.
  • Finding new ways to create unconventional entry points for talent and leverage the skills and experiences of talent from outside the traditional academic paths.
  • The barrier for exit is much lower than it was pre-pandemic, and talent acquisition will play an integral role in retaining workforce talent. Gain insight on how Microsoft is investing in its employees and people managers through various initiatives, including a comprehensive program called Model, Coach, Care.
