2022 Talent Conference
Attendees will learn how to future proof your workforce with upskilling and reskilling strategies

Digital transformation, the massive shift to hybrid work, and business model disruption have created a significant widening of the skill gap in America, leaving upskilling and reskilling as the hottest topic that HR leaders are grappling with as they attempt to retain and engage workers during The Great Resignation. According to a McKinsey Global Survey that examined the future of work, “companies lack the talent they will need in the future: 44 percent of respondents say their organizations will face skill gaps within the next five years, and another 43 percent report existing skill gaps.” Companies need to respond and implement upskilling and reskilling initiatives in order to remain competitive in this fast-paced digital world.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding the basics of upskilling and reskilling and the critical differences and applications Identifying and creating a robust skills taxonomy to determine skill gaps.
  • Creating and implementing a “holistic skills profile” for employees that determine their career path and critical learning .
  • Building an infrastructure to analyze employee skills gaps and quickly serve up opportunities for training and development.
  • Creating a culture of joint responsibility and accountability with real world examples from companies who have taken the upskilling and reskilling journey.
