Getting to YES: Upping Your Presentation Skills to Get the Greenlight from your Boss!

2023 Annual
Maximizing your chances of getting a YES when presenting your ideas to your boss, co-workers or anyone else who carries influence at your company.

"You never get a second chance to make a good first impression in your presentation."

That old adage holds true for pretty much every interpersonal interaction you can imagine.

In the workplace, your ability to deliver a great presentation can have a huge impact on getting to yes for a proposal, your career or really almost anything that has to get done (as most of us rely on input from others to achieve our objectives).

During this highly engaging and interactive session, long-time national SHRM speaker, Val Grubb, will share the 4 critical areas to focus on to get that yes from your boss, co-workers or anyone else you need to influence.

Learning Objectives:

  • How 'content is king' may not be the best strategy when preparing your presentation.
  • Overcoming Zoom's inherent challenges to get that yes from your audience.
  • How elevating your confidence equates to the audience's confidence in you!
  • Adapting to where your audience is in their professional journey to gain consensus for your ideas.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
