HR departments are responsible for maintaining sensitive personal information about employees. As technology advances, employees value their privacy more than ever and expect their employers to protect it. In this session, HR professionals will learn how to consider the legal issues associated with privacy in the workplace, understand their obligations to employees, and evaluate opportunities for implementing new cutting-edge tools and complying with changing legal requirements.

Her experience includes advising human resources professionals and representing employers in privacy-related employment litigation. She frequently writes, presents, and counsels clients on the use of new workplace technologies such as artificial intelligence, facial recognition, biometrics, electronic monitoring and surveillance, and employee data collection.
