Legal Updates and Trends in Employment Law
In this seminar, we’ll cover several cutting-edge legal developments already affecting most California employers. Such topics will include the mandatory implementation of Workplace Violence Prevention Plans, recent expansions in the area of harassment law, as well as changes to CAL OSHA heat requirements. We’ll also help employers stay ahead of the curve as we give a sneak peek into pending legislation coming down the road for 2025. Such bills include limitations to slow down technological replacement of workers in certain industries, limitations to employment contracts, restricted use of drivers licenses for employment purposes, potential changes to Paid Family Leave, among others.
