Bringing One's Whole Self to Work: Faith in the Workplace

INCLUSION 2023
Attendees will be able to create spaces at work where conversations among employees about faith are respectful, safe, and enlightening.

It is said 'Don't talk about Religion or Politics at Work.'  When employees are asked to leave their faith at the door, for many they keep a significant part of themselves out of the workplace.  This hurts their productivity and their sense of belonging at work.  Discover how to create a culture where employees respect each other's faith beliefs.

Learning Objectives:

  • Be able to explain why it is important to be able to talk about faith at work.
  • Learn some techniques for creating safe conversations around faith.
  • Learn how to integrate faith into one's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy.
