HR professionals know that ethics is foundational for good human resource management practices, but how does one successfully navigate the ethical challenges we encounter? This is where ethical agility is vital. Ethical agility reflects our ethical maturity. Having an awareness of our strengths and weaknesses allows us to assess the subtleties of a given situation and respond in an ethical manner. This capacity for self-reflection and application improves our ability to handle complex ethical decision-making.
Learning Objectives:
- Review the 2022 Global Business Ethics Survey report and the impact on workplaces.
- Learn the definition of ethical agility and its impact on our ethical maturity.
- Hear how self-reflection and application improve our ability to operate ethical decision-making.
- Learn the ethical basis theories and frameworks.
- Review the elements to create an ethical work culture.
