Accessing care with today’s health plans often feels like not having coverage at all. Before you meet your deductible, you’re on your own for everyday care needs, facing unknown costs and decisions—feeling frustration, stress and fear. In this session, Laura Cave, Chief Marketing Officer at Paytient, will shine a spotlight on the results from a new study released earlier this year by Nonfiction Research that finds 40% of workplace-insured employees are deferring care and grappling with declining mental and physical health as a result, while also hiding activities from employers. Then, Laura will share how the most innovative HR Leaders and Benefit Professionals are working to energize their workforce by ensuring they have a benefit that can adapt to all their employees' urgent needs across the "Big 5" essential household categories: Medical, Dental, Vision, Pharmacy, and Veterinary. It turns out you don't have to change your deductibles, you simply need to change how your employees feel about them. While income is a powerful social determinant of health that drives inequitable health outcomes, there is a solution to creating certainty of healthcare affordability for your organization. Join us to learn how you can elevate the pre-deductible experience for employees while also unlocking health equity, and improving the following for the employer's organization: Employee Retention, Employee Attendance, Employee Productivity, Health Benefit Savings, Plan Migration Rates, Costs due to Chronic Conditions, and Prescription Adherence
Learning Objectives:
1. Create certainty of healthcare affordability for employees across all income levels in your organization
2. Achieve your attraction and retention goals by implementing a flexible benefit that addresses the diverse and urgent household needs of your employee population.
3. Prevent burnout and help to build financial resilience by implementing a supportive benefit that alleviates out-of-pocket healthcare costs.
