First, with respect to the implementation of @nprjobs and later with #NPRlife, Schmidt will discuss the success of starting small and scaling a successful social campaign to build an employment brand and recruit the best talent. Learn how he utilized social to recruit talent against other organizations like Google. Schmidt will discuss how @nprjobs has shaped the social recruiting strategy of NPR, reaching over 11,000 Twitter followers in its first year, and how other platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Google Plus have helped minimize reliance on job boards and saved money and resources. Finally, he will discuss the value of involving your employees in your social strategy.
