Live Risk Assessment From Leading Global Experts

SHRM Global Mobility and Immigration Symposium
Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the business cycle companies go through with regard to travel decisions, starting with the business need and assessment process all the way through to the travel itself.

Traveling abroad to conduct business is both necessary and expected for many working professionals. However, as the number of protectionist countries continues to increase, successful international business travel void of any difficulty has become challenging to achieve. Much of this difficulty stems from employers’ struggle to understand the many complexities and nuances of international business travel. Twenty-one percent of employers say they have trouble understanding the differences between business travel and work permits; 28 percent identify the process of determining which visa, if any, an employee qualifies for as a major pain point in the organization; and 33 percent struggle to stay current on the different regulations of destination countries. In this interactive workshop, attendees will walk through various scenarios in which they will use internal and professional analysis to help inform what decisions should be made and why.
