We will also discuss the potential risks and obstacles associated with implementing disruptive technologies, and the best practices for success.
Tim Sackett, SHRM-SCP

Tim Sackett, SCP, is the CEO of HRUTech.com, a leading technical recruiting firm. Tim has over 20 years of combined executive HR and talent acquisition experience working for Fortune 500 companies. Tim is a highly sought-after international speaker on leadership, HR &TA Tech, talent acquisition, and HR execution. Tim is currently a Senior Faculty member with the Josh Bersin Academy. He is also an Angel investor and advisor and sits on multiple HR Technology corporate boards.
Tim is the author of the newly released book The Talent Fix, Vol. 2. He also writes daily on his blog, the Tim Sackett Project. Tim is married to a hall-of-fame wife, has three sons, and his dog Tucker. In 2023, he was named a Top Global HR & Recruitment Influencer by HR Executive. Raj Chopra

Raj Chopra is the Head of Americas at Velocity Foundation. Raj is an experienced leader of having senior roles in PE technology-based, growth-stage and start up organizations. Prior to joining Velocity, he was SVP of Business Development/Alliances for First Advantage, from 2014 to 2019 where he rebuilt the function after a Private Equity roll up of three background check companies. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Bus Development for Intercontinental Exchange, a technology-based provider of global trading as well part of the Founding Team and Vice President Sales and Strategy for a start-up, Transora, an ecommerce exchange serving the consumer product industry.
Ian Chiu

For over 20 years, Ian has been an investor, entrepreneur, and advisor to education and technology companies. He has a deep global network in the education sector and brings a wealth of investing and board experience to the Owl Ventures team. Ian serves on the boards of Degreed, BenchPrep, LeLe Ketang, Sanjieke, and Abl and works closely with MasterClass. Prior to joining Owl Ventures, Ian led the education sector at Warburg Pincus and was a technology investor at Silver Lake Partners. Earlier in his career, Ian was a consultant at Bain & Company and also helped launch BigMachines, a SaaS company that was acquired by Oracle.
Ian serves on the Advisory Board for SEO, a non-profit that provides educational, career, and mentoring programs for young people from underrepresented communities. He is a member of the Advisory Council for Gladeo, a digital social enterprise dedicated to providing career guidance to underserved youth of diverse backgrounds. Ian was also the lead author of Caution: Watch for Scholarships Ahead, a practical guide for students to navigate the complex scholarship application process, which was endorsed by Stanford University’s Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid.
Ian is a graduate of Stanford University, where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with Distinction, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering, with a concentration in technology management and entrepreneurship. He also received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and Arbuckle Leadership Fellow.
Younes Bensouda Mourri

Younes Bensouda Mourri is the Founder/CEO of LiveTech.AI. He completed his BS and MS at Stanford University in Computer Science, Math, and Statistics, and dropped out from a PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in social robotics to start LiveTech.AI. He is/has been a lecturer of computer science at Stanford University for several years, where he teaches and builds courses like Applied Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Teaching Artificial Intelligence with Andrew Ng. Younes also taught and built curriculum online. He built a Natural Language Processing suite of 4 courses which is still new and already has 84,000+ learners. Some of the courses he worked on have been taken by millions of learners, such as a machine learning course and the Deep Learning Specialization; a suite of 5 Deep Learning Courses. He is a top instructor at Coursera with 1,200,000+ learners and one of the first and youngest people to become a lecturer of computer science at Stanford University by the age of 22.
Guillermo Corea

Guillermo Corea has been involved in digital technology for over 25 years. He’s currently the Managing Director for SHRMLabs, SHRM's workplace innovation laboratory and venture capital arm. He is charged with establishing SHRM as a research thought leader and product testbed for technologies impacting the future of work and the workplace.
Previously, as Director, Digital Media and Business Development at SHRM, he lead e-commerce operations and identified non-dues revenue opportunities through a variety of activities, including business and product development, and content and technology partnerships.
