Dr. Vaneeta Sandhu is the Head of Emotional Fitness at Coa, an first-of-its-kind online learning platform for employee mental health. Coa offers employers & their teams hundreds of live & on-demand emotional fitness classes on topics like resilience, leadership, burnout, building psychological safety, and more. All of Coa’s classes are rooted in an accessible, interactive, and therapist-led approach that employees love. They work with hundreds of companies including NBC, Skillshare, Qualtrics, Salesforce, General Assembly, and more.
As Head of Emotional Fitness, Vaneeta leads the creation of Coa's live class experiences and curriculum, and the training of our skilled facilitator team. Through her background in clinical psychology and facilitation, she brings an engaging and down-to-earth approach in helping people prioritize mental health through the practice of emotional fitness. With more than 10 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, facilitator, educator, and public speaker, Vaneeta has worked with teams at Lyft, Yelp, Twitter, Reddit, and Dropbox to help managers and executives develop core leadership skills. Her expertise includes principles of behavior change, cross-cultural dynamics, and adult learning.

Gita Barry
Gita is executive vice president and general manager of immersive healthcare at Penumbra, Inc. With more than 25 years in the medical device industry, Gita leads a diverse team of developers and specialists to bring virtual reality-based immersive technology to a broad range of healthcare settings with an extensive library of activities and experiences to address various health conditions. Prior to joining Penumbra, Gita worked at Stryker Corporation in product management, strategy, business development and information technology. Gita received a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami (FL) and an Executive MBA from Santa Clara University.
Ariela Safira
Ariela Safira is the Founder and CEO of Real, a mental health care company building a new therapy model rooted in health equity, affordability, and a true brand evolution, ensuring we all engage with preventative care and feel proud doing so. Starting her career at IDEO, she studied, researched and developed new concepts to approach mental health care and mental wellbeing. Building on her research, Ariela joined Cityblock, founding their first behavioral health clinic in Brooklyn, NY. Ariela earned a BS in Mathematics and Computational Science from Stanford University, where the impetus for her work in mental health care began. Later, she joined Columbia’s Clinical Psychology program to train as a therapist and left the program in 2019 to launch Real. She’s biked across multiple countries to fundraise for suicide prevention. Ariela is the recipient of the 2019 American Psychiatric Association’s Innovation Award, recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30, and Inc’s Top 100 Female Founders.
Carolyn Peer
Carolyn Peer (CEO and Cofounder of Humaxa) is an award-winning Human Capital Management industry leader with an MA in Instructional Technology and a BA in Cognitive Neuroscience. Carolyn started her career as the Lead Instructional Designer at an early stage HR Tech startup called ProBusiness. Carolyn helped build the business and ADP acquired ProBusiness in 2003. After taking a leadership position at ADP (running one of ADP’s Learning & Performance organizations for National Accounts), she guided ADP to a top-20 placement in Training Magazine's Top 125 organizations and a top-5 placement in CLO Magazine's worldwide ranking in 2014. Carolyn left ADP in 2017 to join forces with two associates and to found Humaxa, offering a Machine Learning-powered Digital Assistant that predicts and prevents workforce issues.
