In-Person Breakout - INSPIRE: Focusing on Others
Women In Leadership
Women often move into leadership positions because they work hard and effectively. Because they are known for their competency and expertise, the value they provide is as a doer. However, leadership requires a new competency, one where leaders spend their time inspiring others to be competent, effective and brilliant. In this session you will address the need to spend your time focusing on others and learn techniques that will enable you to inspire others to be great. The session ends with a section on storytelling as a technique that you can use to inspire.
The session on the Inspiring Competency aligns with the Proving Your Value Hurdle.
