Many employees mistakenly believe that if they complain, they are protected from retaliation. This session will provide examples of what is and is not a protected complaint, as well as some best practices for disciplining individuals who have engaged in protected conduct. McEnery will also identify some potential pitfalls when dealing with employees who engage in protected conduct that could lead to lawsuits.
