I Wanna Rock! How Thinking Like a Musician Can Build a Better Team...and a Better Organization

2014 Annual Conference
Workplace Application: Learn simple, easy to remember leadership and team building ideas that relate to musicians.

Great musicians know one thing: once the lights come on, you better be rocking and it doesn’t matter if the roadie doesn’t show up or if the bass player has the flu. Thinking like a musician, although a simple concept, can make a big difference in the employee lifecycle in your organization. Come tap your toes and get ready to get the band back together. When it comes to management functions, complicated does not equate better. An organization or team cannot reach the goal if the goal isn’t known to everyone...and changing a goal can cause a lot of noise.
