MEGA SESSION: “Once Upon a Time…” Four Steps to Using Storytelling to Deliver Unforgettable Presentations

2014 Annual Conference
Workplace Application: This session will outline the skills and storytelling mindset HR professionals need to deliver inspirational presentations with grace and style.

The vast majority of presentations don't always end with the idealistic “happily ever after.” You are tasked with engaging and inspiring employees, but when they're in the spotlight and it's time to present, they can sometimes crash and burn. Uncover four expert steps for commanding the room and “wowing” the crowd through storytelling, and learn how to turn topics like performance reviews, compliance training, and onboarding into riveting dramas. You'll discover the three guaranteed mistakes every presenter makes without even realizing it – and how to avoid these at all costs. Through storytelling and powerful presenting, you'll learn how to evoke emotion to connect employees to the organization.
