You're Not Old, You Just Don't Understand How to Recruit Talent Under 30
Are you having difficulty recruiting talent under 30? Seems like they behave differently, ask different questions, expect different things from you and your hiring managers? Um, yeah. The game has changed. This presentation will explore this change. Talent under 30 wants to be texted instead of called. They ask questions in the hiring process like (1) what's next, and (2) how are you going to develop my skills, and (3) how are you going to recognize/praise me? They also research companies via Google, Glassdoor and contact former employees via LinkedIn. That's even before they apply for the job. It's so different, one has to wonder, what talent we're missing because we're not playing the game the right way, the way they want us to play. This presentation will help you better understand how to attract this new generation of workers.
