Attract. Engage. Retain. Charting the Course for the Employee Life Cycle

2018 Talent Conference & Exposition
You will learn how to increase employee mobility within your organization, while also helping your company identify and grow its next generation of leaders.

In today's job market it's becoming increasingly critical for organizations to offer dynamic and diverse career experiences so that we can recruit, engage and develop talent. In this session, Lori Goldberg will discuss Compass, an integrated talent management strategy that encourages employees to shape their own careers at Cox, regardless of job function, industry or division. Compass is a philosophy and suite of tools that facilitate career mobility by integrating the critical aspects of an employee's life cycle. For employees, Compass provides shared processes, tools and resources that enable them to navigate a dynamic career. For the company, Compass provides greater visibility of talent across divisions and helps to identify its next generation of leaders. This session will also discuss the major gains that Cox has experienced since launching Compass and how you can create a similar experience in your organization. You will learn how to:

·         Establish a culture that promotes internal career mobility.

·         Engage talent at each step in the employee life cycle (recruiting, onboarding, performance management, development,
          learning and succession planning/talent review).

·         Create a competitive advantage via a cross-divisional, integrated talent management process.
