The Blind Audition: Tackling Ageism in Your Recruiting and Promotion Practices

2020 Talent Virtual Experience
Eliminate ageism in recruitment and promotion by improving our every day practices in the talent evaluation and promotion process.

The concept of being “overqualified” has hit new heights in today's workforce, leaving many workers late in their career disillusioned that they are being discriminated against. Lets change the paradigm in recruitment, selection and promotion to recognize the value of “fully qualified” individuals who just happen to be over the age of 40. This program will explore ways to eliminate potentially discriminatory practices in the use of social media and antiquated methods of selection and promotion.

Learning Objectives:

  • Auditing your recruitment and selection processes to eliminate hiring biases.
  • Re-educating your management and executive team to value fully qualified individuals who are being passed up in recruitment and promotion for the wrong reasons.
  • Exploring strategic methods to eliminate bias and make your organization an employer of choice for all candidates.
