Beatriz Fontanella
Beatriz Fontanella is Marqeta’s Senior Director globally leading the Go To Market, People Experience, Finance and Legal, Risk & Compliance functions from a People Business Partner standpoint. Beatriz is an accomplished senior people and business leader with experience developing and implementing HR related best-practices and people strategy support to hyper growth teams. Beatriz has a keen acumen for transforming overall business objectives and vision to meet priorities and create an inclusive and diverse people culture.
Prior to Marqeta, Beatriz held the Senior Director, Human Resources role at Gartner, where she spent almost 10 years. She is a seasoned HR leader who has progressed her career through a number of senior HR leadership positions varying from Country Manager, Early Career Development Director, and Global Head of People Business Partners. Beatriz is originally from Brazil and has global experience, spending time living in Italy and Australia, before relocating to the US in 2015. She has Bachelors in Psychology, is a Certified Coach, and holds a Masters Degree in Group Dynamics. She is passionate about personal development, growth, and loves to travel with her daughter.
