TA Tech and AI: It Isn't an All-or-Nothing Proposition

2024 Annual
Don't confuse AI and ChatGPT or conflate with automation and robotic process automation (RPA). As a baseline, what is lacking in organizations and TA tech is simple automation and natural language processing (NLP). It isn't magical or anything that we should be afraid of. It's simply smart automation that facilitates candidate progression, actionable communication, and with robust integration.

Leaders are very curious and also very cautious when it comes to TA Tech and emerging AI. The robots may come, but we are a people business, right? AI, and even RPA and machine learning, enables humans to be at their best. Being freed up from manual, repetitive tasks, is like no longer having to rub sticks together to make fire. Recruiters can focus on delivering a white-glove concierge experience for candidates and for hiring managers alike.

Learning Objectives:

  • Working knowledge of the TA tech landscape, including AI - what it is and what it isn't.
  • Know your use case: How to articulate what is lacking in your recruiting or hiring workflows and the problems you are seeking to solve.
  • Speak in business requirements: Less about the technology that you buy but more about how you configure it to meet your unique use case.
  • Thoughtful implementation with a focus on managing organizational change.
