ALLYSHIP: How to Recognize and Disrupt Bias
It is no longer enough to say you value Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Allyship is Action! In this dynamic session, you will learn the difference between Performative Allyship and Authentic Allyship. You will learn how to recognize and disrupt bias with interactive opportunities that allows you to practice with other participants. You have the opportunity to confront real life workplace scenarios and assess your own Allyship muscle strength. This dynamic session is led by Sonia Aranza, a 25+ year veteran in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion arena. Known for her engaging approach to complex topics, participants are empowered and emboldened to take action! Allyship is an ongoing journey and this session will help you advance so you can create a more inclusive environment at work and in life!
