This brave space will be used to discuss and evaluate issues and challenges associated with equity across your organization. Bring your day-to-day concerns to this guided space to receive thought partnership and solutions from compensation to equity assessments within the systems related to your organization. Collaborate with your peers as you navigate the intersections of performance management systems, equity and compensation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Step through a workshop focused on critical issues within your organization.
  • Focus on the intersection of performance management and compensation and how your total rewards practices could be perpetuating inequity.
  • Develop a strategic outline for communicating a plan of action.

Antonio Cortes is the Managing Director for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Justice (EDIJ) at Nonprofit HR. He is an Industrial/Organizational and Business Psychologist with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. In his current role, he provides strategic and operational leadership to the EDIJ practice area. Areas of support include Organizational Equity Assessments to uncover operations that lead to inequities, strategy development to solve unique organizational issues in the EDIJ space, global application of EDIJ concepts for multinational organizations and training on topics such as Building a Business Case for EDIJ, Implicit Bias, Microaggressions and Systems Theory Application to Workforce Development.

Tina is a Senior Consultant for the firm’s Total Rewards practice. With over 15 years of human resources experience, Tina has helped organizations in several sectors, including nonprofit, higher education, financial services and technology. Tina is passionate about helping leaders transform talent and optimize teams through total rewards, performance and talent management. A strategic partner, she advises senior leaders and executives on compensation, job/organizational restructuring and organizational development. Tina is versed in evaluating jobs and market pricing, as well as analyzing job descriptions. Through her experiences she has been able to provide capacity building to ensure organizational objectives are achieved.
