#705: Effective Rewards Management

SHRM 2015 Annual Conference

How appropriately and effectively an organization defines, measures and rewards performance has a significant impact on the effectiveness of your workforce. Attracting and retaining critical talent cannot be accomplished with rewards alone. But if the organization's rewards are not believed to be equitable, competitive and appropriate, it will damage your organization's value proposition and make attraction and retention more difficult. You will leave with:

  • An understanding of how rewards impact an organization's ability to attract, retain and motivate the talent necessary for success.
  • The ability to define the internal and external realities your organization faces and understand how they impact workforce management.
  • Knowledge of alternative rewards strategies and how to best select those that are a good fit to your organization, as well as how they can be designed to support the rewards strategy.
