MEGA SESSION: Bringing Big Shots Back To Earth

Capacity:
1310
SHRM 2015 Annual Conference
You will learn a method to address improper behavior, and replace it with civil, professional conduct.

Powerful big shots may have impeccable professional credentials, sales abilities or technical talents, but that doesn't stop them from damaging the organization. This session will provide new approaches for preventing such misbehavior and effectively dealing with big shots before it's too late for them or for you. This session will help you: - Identify organizational "big shots" whose patterns of bullying/abusive behavior compromise business objectives and the overall value of their contributions. - Explain to other leaders how big shot misbehavior conflicts with organizational values and creates risks which limit the benefits big shots typically provide. - Develop specific behavioral counseling which counter typical big shot objections to organizational intervention or corrective action.
