Session #707: Workplace Analytics: Turning Big Data into Actionable Analytics
Everyone is talking about “big data,” but few know how to use it to create actionable analytics. Converting what HR already houses (big data) into cost-saving measures, with leaner controls that affect the bottom line, is the key to creating a “cost-saving center.” Creating a “cost-saving center” out of a pure “cost center” demonstrates your value as a business partner. This workshop will show you how you can use workforce analytics to create tangible value in your company. You will take a deep dive into the data that HR controls and explore how you can turn ambiguity into calls for action. This is what the C-suite wants and needs to hear from its HR team. This workshop will help you answer the following questions:
• What is big data?
• What are actionable analytics derived from big data?
• What are the basic statistics behind actionable analytics and how do you apply these findings to prove cost-savings and
strategic importance in HR?
• What should be the next steps in the process of people analytics?
• What are the questions you should ask your workplace analytics provider?
