For HR to contribute optimal value, you must have a deep understanding of the business strategy and create a talent management system that is aligned with your business needs. This session will share techniques you can use to quickly increase your strategic alignment and create the right measures of processes, leadership and talent development, and other key deliverables. This session will show you:
· Ways you can demonstrate and communicate the value HR brings to the organization, to understand new ways of bringing value,
and to drive business outcomes that are aligned with the goals of the organization.
· The role of analytics and business acumen in making a sound business case for the contributions HR makes
to the organization overall, and to key stakeholders in particular.
· How to use measurement and communication of data as a way to demonstrate your value as a strategic partner and to
provide leadership and information that drives business outcomes.
Carl Persing

Carl is the Director of Research and Solutions for Metrus Group, where his specialties include the creation and validation of assessments, measurement-focused strategic management, organizational transformation and development, leadership development and coaching. He is particularly interested in individual characteristics and how they impact the way people work with each other and contribute to the organization.
Prior to joining Metrus Group, he spent 7 years as an independent organizational consultant and professor/director of Industrial/ Organizational Psychology at Marywood University.
Among his contributions to the profession, Carl is active with the Society for Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, and has served as Past Chair of its Visibility Committee.
