Life After HR: Lessons from a Recovering HR Practitioner
Arte Nathan, former Chief Human Resources Officer for Steve Wynn's gaming companies, will share his journey as well as tips and resources you can use to continue being challenged, productive and fulfilled. As HR practitioners, many of us have the gene that wants to give back to his/her community so Nathan will share how you can get involved with your local community to begin to live another dream. He will share several thought provoking ideas about what could be next after HR and how you can parlay your knowledge, skills and abilities into an exciting opportunity you may not have even thought about.
Arte Nathan
Arte Nathan served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Steve Wynn’s gaming companies from 1983 – 2006; he currently consults, writes and teaches. He recently joined the board of Hope for Prisoners, a Las Vegas-based non-profit organization that facilitates reentry and reintegration services to men, women, and young adults who are exiting various segments of the judicial system.
Arte graduated from Cornell University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. He is an avid musician, hiker, canoeist, book enthusiast and grandfather.
