Health Care Reform: Talk is Over, Time for Action

2014 Annual Conference
Workplace Application: This session addresses considerations for efficiently maintaining compliance, and reviews applicable plan design options before 2015 open enrollment.

The Treasury Department delayed penalties under PPACA, but the law was not repealed. You may have used this delay as an opportunity to plan and prepare, however, compliance will remain an ongoing issue. As this unforeseen extension comes to an end, you need to take a final look at key compliance issues for implementation prior to the upcoming plan year. This session reviews legislative and regulatory requirements for employer provided medical benefits under the PPACA, updates on new developments, alternative compliance options, cost mitigation strategies and the potential use of private exchanges.
