Incorporating D&I into Your Talent Management Strategy
Far too many read the various reports touting the value of diversity and its positive effects on the bottom line yet struggle with how to develop an internal strategy. You will leave this session with a simple strategy to take back to your organization that emphasizes will over skill. This session will address the concern for diversity, equity and inclusion efforts across the talent acquisition landscape. From messaging to sourcing to onboarding, the organization must work together to address the business tenants of innovation, data and infrastructure.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn to avoid “bandages” (free job postings, one-off events) and reinforce the business case for pursuing a solid diversity and inclusion strategy.
- Understand the importance of obtaining key resources, stakeholders and tactical assets to assist in structuring a strategy that supports talent acquisition efforts to source and secure underrepresented talent.
- Find out how to storyboard the talent journey of the prospect, applicant and candidate and attract talent from often-ignored pipelines.
