My Experience as a Job Seeker: A Recruiter's Perspective and Lessons for Talent Acquisition
Leveraging recent experience as a job seeker, Jon Drogheo will share his perspective and lessons we can all learn from a 20-year recruiter and human resource professional. He’ll share data from his experience regarding e-mail correspondence, including declines, interviews (by telephone or otherwise) and no response from the employer. He’ll share lessons for talent acquisition professionals regarding recruitment marketing, communication, process and brand reputation that impact future sales and business growth, as well as the building of a new-candidate pool. Finally, he’ll share the lessons learned regarding the integration of talent acquisition with a human touch and business overall. When performed well in concert, they have a positive impact on the talent pool and the business’s long-term candidate generation.
