From Transaction to Connection: Building Meaningful Talent Communities
Candidates long for a connection with employers beyond the periodic career fair and e-mail update. What’s more, they want to work for companies that share their values inside and outside of the workplace. In short, candidates want a relationship that is less transactional and grows over time. Building a meaningful talent community means putting the career aspirations of the candidate before your hiring goals and being seen as a driver in the candidate’s pursuit of his or her career passions. This session will address how you can go beyond the career fairs and social media and really invest in your talent—an approach that will have long-lasting results not only in how you build your long-term talent pipeline, but in how you build an employer brand bonded by shared values.
