2023 Talent Conference
This quick talk serves as a cautionary tale for those who don't think mental health is an important priority for their employers or for themselves

Drawing on her personal experience with major burnout, Shelly, a self-professed recovering type-A personality, will make the case for the importance of investing in workplace mental health & well-being.  This quick talk can serve as both a cautionary tale (for those who don't think mental health is an important priority for their employees or for themselves) and support, in knowing they are not alone, for those who have experienced, or may currently be experiencing, workplace burnout.

Learning Objectives:

  • Hear a first-hand account of what burnout can look like short term & long term and its potential impacts personally and on the organization.
  • Explore with humor 'Maybe there's a problem when...' as Shelly discusses some of the signs of burnout to look for.
  • Understand why now it's more important than ever for employers to invest in worker mental health & well-being to attract & retain talent.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
