Building a Culture of Collaboration through Performance Management

2023 Talent Conference
Attendees will gain tools for implementing a performance system that encourages employee buy-in.

Organizational systems and processes play a major role in organizational culture, and send certain (and often unintended) messages about the culture too. For example, if employees give feedback or suggestions into a black hole, with no information about what happened to the suggestion or if it was considered, they'll understand the culture as one that doesn't value feedback or innovation. Of course, performance management systems are another way organization's send messages about culture - they can either empower or stifle employees and growth. Establishing a collaborative performance process will trickle into the ways employees interact on a daily basis, both with each other and with their managers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify ways to tie organizational core values into performance management.
  • Discover strategies for building collaboration into company culture through the performance system.
  • Identify key learning objectives for manager training around performance management.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
