The Power of Stay Interviews in Post-Pandemic Times
Status message
A session in this conference ends more than 10 days after the conference! Some sessions may not appear properly in My Session Planner. The presenter's book The Power of Stay Interviews introduced the stay interview concept ten years ago. Yet today stay interviews are more important than ever because the pandemic introduced us to many new reasons why employees stay and might leave. In this session, the author will disclose why just five questions are essential, the research behind them, and the skills supervisors must learn to implement them.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn the required five stay interview questions and the research behind them.
- Discover the four skills supervisors must learn and practice, along with the exercises for providing that skill training.
- Hear how client input led to the development related solutions that include placing dollar costs on turnover, establishing leaders' retention goals, asking leaders to forecast future turnover, and holding leaders accountable for achieving goals and developing accurate forecasts.
In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
