2024 Talent Conference & Expo
Take the fear away from dealing with difficult people and challenging conversations, when you learn the importance and process of bonding in the session, 'Reconnecting Humanity.'

Our society is filled with people in pain and overwhelmed by emotion, which oftentimes spills into the workplace, left for HR to manage.  Join former hostage and crisis negotiator Scott Tillema, as he leads a session on how negotiators work people through crisis, utilizing the power of connection and helping people discover their purpose.  This session outlines the bonding process and how we can reconnect teams and organizations using this unique approach.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will understand the importance of connection, to their own mental health and well-being, and the serious issues that can occur without it.
  • The active listening skills, as taught by the FBI will be presented so participants have immediate actionable information.
  • Learn the 'FEARs', or the drivers of human behavior.  What they are and how they impact decision making.
  • Find the inspiration and courage to take the steps needed to connect with others, even in the most challenging situations.
