Top Talent, Tight Budget: Recruiting on a Dime

2024 Talent Conference & Expo
Small organizations need to find the same top talent as those with significant budgets - and they can easily but following proven techniques that don't have to cost a lot!

What does the great resignation and quiet quitting really mean?  It means we need to reimagine recruiting RIGHT NOW!   Recruiting must be more than just filling a vacant position - and retaining top talent is all about making the right selection to begin with.  And it's not just about what HR can do to bring in candidates.  There has never been a more important time to adopt the saying:  It takes a village!  Hiring managers need to evaluate the scope of the role - and how that may have changed since the last person held the position.  What do they really need in the future - and how can succession planning be impacted by hiring just the right person.    Candidates look for jobs in a new way, and the tools available to managers to screen candidates should be utilized.  The old system of place an ad and wait just won't work today.  You have got to meet candidates where they are and become an employer of choice.   Finally, our discussion will conclude with the tools to identify top talent and ensure they are aligned with the long-term success of your organization.

Learning Objectives:

  • Options for filling the candidate pipeline.
  • Creating an interview experience that gets the information you need.
  • Embracing technology while still creating a personal connection.
  • Full cycle recruiting goes beyond the offer letter.
