This session will help mid-level HR professionals who may be accountable for setting and administering inclusive HR policies and practices.  It will create a base of knowledge needed to navigate workplace issues related to freedom of speech while providing practical, easy to use tools to create solutions for their partners and workplace.

  • Discuss and explore the challenges of driving inclusive workplace strategies within a context of inflammatory political discourse.
  • Understand the leadership, legal, and policy realities for handling political speech in the workplace.
  • Analyze your organization's current state of readiness using a proprietary assessment tool.
  • Examine and compare practical workplace policies that can be used to establish workplace expectations and practices.
  • Review a practical step-by-step plan for managing situations as they arise.
