Braskem is a Brazilian multinational created 12 years ago to become a relevant international player within the petrochemical industry. The net revenue in 2014 was approximately US$ 20 billion with close to 8,300 employees in 36 plants in the U.S., Germany, Brazil and Mexico as well as three research and development centers and offices around the world. In 2014 Braskem was recognized one of the best company to develop leaders (HAY-Brazil) , one of the top innovation companies in the world (Fast Company Magazine- USA) and one of the most attractive companies for youth (México). This session will demonstrate the process and lessons learned on their journey to becoming a global company. Graduate in business administration, with specialization in business management, has over 26 years of experience in the HR area in segments such as metallurgy, automation and power technology, telecommunications, automotive, consumer goods and petrochemical. He has already implemented organizational and HR transformation programs , cultural change , leadership development programs, build and implement HR strategy, and internationalization of HR policies and practices. Has developed his career within some global companies such as ABB, Unilever, Fiat Chrysler Automotive and Braskem.
