When organizations take a human-centric approach with their employees, magical things begin to happen: Productivity increases, job satisfaction improves, retention stabilizes and employees are, well, happy. If your organization needs an attitude adjustment, our practical guide will help your HR team implement and foster a human-centric work environment. We'll weed out the myths, discuss employee nuances (thrivers vs. grinders) and unveil a few small steps that will reboot your employees, taking them from doldrums to dynamic.
Learning Objectives:
- '1-2-3 Check, Check: Let's breakdown three human-centric workplace myths for a reality check: -Too touchy-feely. Our organization isn't emotional enough for a human-centric culture. - Eeew, people. Having a human-centric workplace involves constant hand-holding, coddling and micromanaging employees. -What they really, really want: All employees prefer a flexible work schedule.'
- The Benefits: Companies with human-centric cultures are filled with employees who take pride in their organization, feel valued, encouraged to provide feedback and make improvements.
- The Steps: Implementing a human-centric workplace involves understanding employee needs and creating an environment that supports wellbeing, flexibility, communication and sense of belonging.
- The Technology: Better workplace technology boosts employee productivity, improves efficiency and enables informed decision-making.
- The Numbers: Open communication, surveys and constant feedback not only engages employees, but it gives them a voice. Your follow-through ensures they are being heard, valued and respected.
