Born in Vietnam, Dr. Robbins immigrated with his mother to the United States where they faced many challenges during a time when there was much anti-war and anti-Vietnamese sentiment.

Working through and rising out of the challenges of poverty, discrimination and the tough streets of Los Angeles, Dr. Robbins now brings insightful perspectives on issues of inclusion & innovation, leadership, and the power of caring.  Drawing upon a compelling life journey, his talks and workshops are filled with intriguing stories, laugh-out-loud humor and a keen understanding of human behavior.

Dr. Robbins uniquely knows how to simultaneously challenge and motivate people with a dynamic use of storytelling, humor and extensive knowledge of pertinent issues and concepts. Nehrwr specializes in Diversity and Cultural Competence. He works extensively with individuals and organizations to build multicultural competence and work team effectiveness. His philosophy of authentic community building has led to national recognition of some of the programs and students he worked with as Training Coordinator of the University of Minnesota’s Diversity Institute. In almost 10 years at the Diversity Institute Nehrwr used a wide range of programs and services to enhance and promote the climate for diversity at the University. Since that time, he has worked with a variety of organizations providing diversity training, strategic planning and individual coaching. His humor and authentic approach put people at ease even with the most contentious issues of diversity. Nehrwr’s educational background includes a degree in mathematics and ranges from urban studies to Arabic language.

He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kansas, and is also a Master Certifying Trainer for the Process Communication Model (PCM®), certified in clinical, educational, spiritual, and corporate applications; and co-developer of the NEOS Efficacy Outcomes System. Dr. Regier has presented nationally and internationally, and published on a variety of topics, including social-emotional intelligence, workplace wellness, leadership, mind-body-spirit integration, and communication.

As the first Deputy Director for Learning and Development of the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Workplace Project, Allyson Robinson drives the design and delivery of HRC’s broad portfolio of training and curricula for corporate and non-profit audiences to improve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) cultural competence and inclusion in the workplace. She first joined HRC as Associate Director of Diversity in 2008. As America’s largest LGBT civil rights organization, HRC strives to end discrimination against the LGBT community and realize the promise of fundamental fairness and equality for all. A native of Scranton, Pa., Allyson is a 1994 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where she majored in physics, and holds a master of divinity degree in theology with a capstone emphasis in social justice from Baylor University. She lives with her partner and their four children in Montgomery Village, Md.

 Andre Koen is an energetic presenter, a powerful communicator, and a dynamic teacher.  There are many words that describe him. The most illustrative is “Andre, the Enkindled Spirit”. 

 Andre is a diversity trainer in Minnesota. He provides face-to-face and online courses on diversity education including leadership development, empowerment training, cross-cultural competence, sensitivity training, anti-racism training and team building. Most of his clients include professionals needing continuing education credits. His weekly blog includes ideas for controlling, removing, and fighting discrimination. Koen also offers one-on-one training and coaching.
