2022 Annual Conference
Increase efficiency and effectiveness  virtually and in-person by learning how to influence emotion to motivate action. Achieve desired outcomes with direct reports, managers, stakeholders and coworkers.

Learn the essential techniques leaders and professional performers have used for centuries to become a more influential and effective communicator. To solve today's most pressing people issues and strategies, HR professionals must address the number one skills gap, according to LinkedIn's Workplace Learning & Development Report: communication skills. Now more than ever, it is important to master both in-person and virtual communication. A company's success depends on its employee's ability to deliver clear and concise information, from setting the vision and securing consensus and buy-in among internal and external stakeholders, to providing constructive feedback effectively and leading efficient meetings, to openly discussing, actively listening to, and considering other's points of view. In this session, learn the secret to influencing emotion to motivate action.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to influence, persuade and motivate behavior change and action by influencing emotion - learn tips to do so virtually, and in-person.
  • How to clearly communicate your message by aligning your voice and body language.
  • How to provide more effective feedback, lead efficient meetings, and/or deliver critical information using a universal three-step process for influential communication.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
